Hey my loves, today I am presenting to you this wonderful family lifestyle shoot we did with my childhood best friend Zoe and her stunning family. We had her Husband Gary, two daughters Ella & Margot and puppy dawg Max, not forgetting Zoe's twin sister Hannah who was an amazing helper! Ahhhh, what a glorious evening we had… West End Beach did not disappoint and neither did the weather, we were blessed with beautiful sunshine and moody skies throughout!

Gary is a hands on Dad which I always love to photograph, the love he has for his girls was so obvious to see and really wonderful to capture, and with Zoe she is just a naturally wonderful mother, and the relationship with her girls is gorgeous but humorous to say the least. Her eldest daughter Ella even questioned whether her mummy thought she was the trendiest!! Hilarious!

These guys were really the cutest, just interacting as themselves and having fun as a family, the way it always should be on one of my photoshoots. There is nothing I love more than being able to photograph families in a natural way, with no forced poses or interaction. I really think the best photographs come from being yourselves.

Clearly I couldn't pick just a few of my favourites, so I am adding the whole gallery. How could I not?

I hope you enjoyed looking through these gorgeous photos, check out my lifestyle page for my packages if you are interested in booking something for your family.

Love,

Charleigh x

On Saturday 5th December 2020, I was invited to photograph the wedding of Naomi, a childhood friend from school, to her partner Dave. Of course I was honoured to be able to do this, especially as the government announcements had been changing left right and centre. At one point we weren't sure whether the wedding would be allowed to go ahead, but with a leap of faith they decided to keep the date booked in and luckily they did, as the wedding was able to go ahead, and it was truly something special.

I arrived at Naomi and Dave's house at 11am and the girls were halfway through getting ready. It was lovely to see my great friend Kiri from Kiri MUA there working her magic, the girls all looked absolutely stunning. As you can see from the pictures their hair looked absolutely beautiful, created by Alice Marie Hair.

Nai was decked out with bridal attire, from white fluffy slippers, to a dressing gown with bride embellishments and even her drink had the word "Bride" on it. The details certainly weren't missed here and it's always a joyful thing for me to capture. I always think it's nice to look back on in the years ahead to remember all those details that make your day unique.

Nai's stunning flowers were created by 'Flowers by Alison' and her exquisite Rosa Clara dress was purchased from Hannah Elizabeth Bridal in Botley. The theme was sage green and white and the bridesmaids dresses were a beautiful blush pink, with silver sparkles entwined minimally but giving a subtle winter wedding feel to it.

Nai asked me to capture this moment with her brother Aaron, where she wrote him a letter and gifted him with a clock watch. I will always remember him looking at Nai and saying "Do you know how unbelievably proud of you I am?" which in turn made me shed a tear behind the lens. This moment was pure love, and I am so lucky to have witnessed this amazing sibling bond. This really shone through throughout the day.

Sisterssss, are doing it for themselves! Ha, I always hear that song in my head when I look at these pictures. Seriously though, how stunning. Hannah is Nai's big sis and Maid of Honour. She took this role very seriously whilst helping Nai into her dress, supporting her throughout the day and giving an extremely heartfelt reading during the ceremony, leaving not a single dry eye in the room. Well done Hannah it was so gorgeous and again made me weep. (Why am I like this?!)

Not long after getting back inside and out of the rain, Nai found this very sweet envelope posted to her. Moments like this on the wedding morning are priceless!

WOW WOW WOW WOW! Honestly, I have no other words than that! A truly stunning Bride.

Again, another heart melting moment between Nai and her brother Aaron, where he saw her in the dress for the first time. The dress was a gift to Nai from him, but he didn't want to see it until she was in it.

In December last year (2019) I captured Sophie's wedding (below) where Nai was a bridesmaid and it was so nice to be able to capture Sophie as Nai's bridesmaid too. These two have been best friends for years and you can see how much they mean to each other. I have similar pics from Sophie's wedding too!

Moments before the ceremony ....

The ceremony was so emotional! Nai walked down the aisle with her brother, to her sister - in - law singing an acoustic John legend song, and it was just breathtakingly beautiful. Everyone was crying. In fact, I was UGLY CRYING, you know the one where you just want to give into it and do that really loud sob ... thank goodness I had a mask on and a camera almost bigger than my head.

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Fell!

Wishing you all of the best for your future together, enjoy every moment, and I pray that you get to go on your honeymoon sooner rather than later! But until then, soak each other up, love, and be happy. It was an absolute pleasure to be there on your day and capture it for you. All the best guys, love Charleigh xox

On Monday 30th December I had the honour of watching Ollie marry the love of his life Sophie. Sophie first reached out to me to photograph her gorgeous son Jude back in the summer and it was an honour to be asked to photograph her and Ollie's wedding. Having met them previously gave a more familiar feel to capturing their special day which I absolutely loved. We started the day off at Sophies mums house where funnily enough I grew up playing on the green outside with Sophie's younger twin siblings!

It was lovely to see two of my besties Sam at Sam Orwell Bridal Hair and Kiri at Kiri Make Up Artist who were in charge of hair & make up for the bride and bridesmaids. One of my favourite parts of a wedding is being part of the bridal prep buzz. It's a nervous yet excited vibe full of giggles and Prosecco and it means I can capture some really beautiful preparation shots.

As always, the morning flashed before our eyes and we couldn't believe it was time to head to the Arundel Town Hall! Sophie looked absolutely radiant in her wedding dress, truly stunning and the bridesmaids complimented her and the winter wedding look perfectly.

Upon arrival at the the Town Hall, we realised that Sophie had left her bouquet at home! There's a first for everything, but she handled it with dignity and grace.. and stole the bridesmaids bouquets instead! ha!

After the ceremony we went outside to capture some portraits and formal shots and we were so lucky to have the gorgeous low sun, making for stunning photographs! It was the perfect moment to sneak Ollie and Sophie away from everyone to capture some couples portraits and it was amazing, we went outside the Town Hall and had a wonder around Arundel.  This moment is so important for newlyweds as you don't get much time on your own on your wedding day.

The reception was held at Butlers and it was dressed with twigs and fairy lights for the festive season. It really complimented the theme of the wedding, and it had a relaxed vibe whilst people arrived and settled down for a drink and a chat.

The speeches that followed the dinner were on top form! Emotions were running high from everyone, including me, I have said it before but I am so grateful for my camera that I can hide behind, I can't help it I shed a tear at every wedding! O+S clearly meant a lot to their guests.

The night concluded with a live band, drinks flowing and everybody genuinely having a fantastic time. It was great to be a part of it and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Thank you Sophie + Ollie for choosing me, I wish you a lifetime of happiness with your gorgeous family.
