A Perfect September Day at Northbrook Park

Lucy and Calum were married at Northbrook Park on 3rd September 2025, on a calm early September day.
Having known Lucy beforehand, through her being a friend of my sister and also working on a couple of weddings together (Lucy is a talented make up artist and content creator!) it meant that we already had a lovely relationship before her wedding day, something that is always a helpful bonus when capturing such a special event.

Bridal prep had the usual wedding morning vibe to it, calm but purposeful. Lucy was organised and composed, having clearly thought through every detail in advance which kept the morning running smoothly. There was time to get ready without rush, with the anticipation for what was ahead building.

Calum had my heart right from the start, where he was so in touch with how he was feeling, not afraid to let the tears out, overcome with emotion, it was really wonderful to witness, a true gentlemen who wears his heart on his sleeve.

One of my favourite moments to capture at a wedding is the CONFETTI and this one did not disappoint, perfectly circle, white tissue paper fluttering around in the air, what’s not to love?!

Lucy & Calum’s theme was a gorgeous butter yellow with lemons and greens complimenting the decor. The bridesmaids looked effortlessly stunning, whilst the groomsmen looked very dapper in their suits.

Super fun and thought out decor too! I loved the disco balls!

Another favourite part of the day to photograph is the couples portraits, especially when you are lucky enough to have a golden hour and glorious sunset! C&L were so at ease with the photographs and were so totally themselves and relaxed together that the photos speak for themselves!

Beautiful heartfelt speeches took place after this before the food was served which is something that I am grateful for personally as it means the tables aren’t all messed up in the photographs!
